For a short time every year the trees in Cradle Mountain National Park take on autumn colour, a scene that is stunning. I recently came back from Tasmania spending a month travelling around and building an itinary for a tour next year. I also made sure I arrived in time for fagus week and was not disapointed with what I saw. I did a lot of walking on many of the tracks in Cradle Mountain National Park so I knew what would best suit a group next year. I also travelled to several other parts of Tassie doing exactly the same thing a reconnaissance for a tour. Overall it was great weather but of course being Tasmania I always expeceted a mixed bag of good and bad weather. I love it over there and what I liked the most was the unexpected and all the walking trails some easy some extreme and the challenge of a completely different environment from where I live here in the outback of South Australia.
I am currently finalising the itinary for the trip and am excited about taking people over to Tassie and getting them in to some key locations. If your interested in coming along in 2017 please subscribe to my newsletter and I will notify of the dates when they are online and bookings can be made to hold your space. You dont want to miss this trip its going to be fantastic.
Hope to see you there in 2017.
