So I am sitting with Bernie and Pontip (RFDS nurse) and a couple of others in the Roadhouse in Marree this morning having a chat and a coffee and in walks a gentleman on a mission. He was asking about purchasing my large framed print called LIFE which was hanging on the wall in the dining area pictured here. Within 2 minutes it was sold and paid for. Well thats the quickest sale I have ever had I think of such a large and expensive piece.
Beautifully printed on metallic pearl paper and double matted and framed by Blackman Gallery.
He took it with him so we needed to get it sorted so it was safe for travelling, It was a joint effort as you can see by the pictures here but in no time it was ready to pop in the car. Spose I wiwll have to get another one done now.
Just a shout out to the group he was travelling with across the outback as they were involved in a charity to raise money for pancreatic cancer.
If you want to see more shots of these flowers I have a gallery dedicated to them under my South Australia Gallery called Sturt Desert Peas.
To see a selection of my images please go to the above website, not the shot your after, you may also request an image to be made into a jigsaw. Just send me a message with the image your after and I will get it over to the jigsaw gallery for you.
It was great to catch up with a couple of people from my past workshops here in Marree a few days ago, one of them Margaret stayed for a few days with here husband Mal, we were able to catch up have coffees and dinner together a couple of times before they took off for Birdsville and beyond. Always nice to have people make a point of catching up with me.
