I have just returned from a week in the Flinders with Len Metcalf and a small group of people. We had a great time photographing throughout the region and saw an abundance of wildlife whilst out and about through 4 wheel drive tracks and gorges. I enjoyed introducing the group to a few of my favourite spots.
A new photographic competition, The International Landscape Photographer of the Year Award, run by local company IC12 Pty Ltd in partnership with noted Australian photographer, Peter Eastway, is highlighting the ongoing debate about the role of post-production, and especially Photoshop skills, in contemporary digital photography.

When I was invited along to a road trip to Broken Hill, Menindee and beyond by one of the Port Adelaide Camera Club members Paula McManus I was dead keen to go along and have a bit of fun as well as do some photography. Generally on my own on road trips I thought it would be a great opportunity to make some new friends and connect to a few more like minded people.
