Whats NOT Included In The Workshop
ARRIVE- ALICE SPRINGS the day of Saturday 1st of June anytime after 12.00pm and before 2pm where I will pick you up from the Airport and head back into Alice Springs to get you checked into your accomodation and then head out for a sunset shoot before having dinner.
DEPART- YULARA the day of Friday 7th of June anytime after 10am to pick up your flight home. For those who want too we will do a sunrise helicopter flight at Uluru (Extra cost dependant on numbers) and then head back to Yulara for breakfast and then checking out of our accomodation for transfers to the Airport.
We stay close to where we want to photograph throughout the trip to maximise our time and give us the best opportunity to visit locations for the best light. There will be early starts and late finishes as we get up for sunrise and stay out for sunset and at least 1 night shooting location. They are long days and lots of driving to get between locations but I guarantee it is worth it. The more effort you put in the more you will get out of this trip.
Tuition And Guidance
Guidence by 2 highly achieved photographers in their respective fields. Small groups only for the best results. 1 on 1 tuition in the field. No one gets left out. Everyone has a chance to shine even the quiet ones. Post production critique sessions included using lightroom.
I will be there to help you achieve and capture the best results you can with your camera and having a small group allows everyone to seek help and shine no matter what level they are at. Group critique gives everyone a chance to see how others have captured certain scenes and allows the creative juices to flow giving everyone a helping hand to see things differently and try new angles or techniques. There will be ample time for questions. There will be a critique session.
IMPORTANT Travel insurance is a requirement for all of my tours. You must be in good health upon arrival. Please refer to my terms and conditions.

What To Expect In The Field
During this workshop we will be visiting most of the major local attractions as well as a couple of my own personal favourite spots that are off the radar and rarely seen by most tourists to the region. Many of these locations offer some great opportunities to photograph a vast array of different landscapes, natural features, colours, bird species and native wildlife.
During this workshop, the opportunities are endless. Come and join Georgie and I for this very special workshop, both of us are top of our respective fields in photography and cross over into both jonres of both landscape and birds/wildlife and have won many awards between us. We will be on hand every step of the way to help you become a better and more intuitive and well rounded photographer. Birds and Wallabies with Techie Georgie Steytler For birders there are copious amount of them in around the resort with easy access. This is a bird paradise I kid you not and there are some stunning species. We will be starting the trip off with our very exclusive guided walk with a ranger who will introduce us to all the nature around the area and best places to photograph it. We will also be doing the Birds of Prey Show exclusively. Landscapes, waterfalls, rainforest, mountains with techie Julie Fletcher Drink in the vistas from your rooms and from the dining room there are shots to captured everywhere and in close proximity to your accomodation. For the more adventurous, we will be visiting most of the major local attractions as well as one of my own personal favourite spots. Many of these locations offer some great opportunities to photograph a vast array of different landscapes, natural features, colours, stunning fungus, trees, ferns and moss. We will visit the various locations at key times of the day (or night) ensuring you have every opportunity to take advantage of the best light and natural features of the area whilst learning new techniques. You need to have a reasonable fitness level for this trip. The itinary suits most people with shorter walks. However, to really experience the diversity there is an option for longer walks for the explorers. Please keep in mind if you want to get the best out of this trip you need to do some walking and be capable of this. We will be doing the circuit walk about 12km which is the biggest walk but it’s on a good track and not too steep. If you do not like walking or you are unable to walk far this trip is not for you. If you have any concerns please contact me before booking to discuss.
You need to have a reasonable fitness level for this trip. The itinary suits most people with only shorter walks and some rock traversing. There is an option for longer walks for the explorers but there is plenty to photograph without the longer walks. Please keep in mind if you want to get the best out of this trip you need to do some walking and be capable of this. The hardest walk we do is a lookout walk which is about 20 minutes one way up hill on a good track with the option to walk further on for another 15 minutes or you can stay down the bottom also. If you don't like walking or you are unable to walk far this trip is not for you. If you have any concerns please contact me before booking to discuss.
